St. Julian’s English School makes it difficult to not have fun while studying English. There is just so much to do here! Sprachcaffe Malta / Geographical Location: The school is simply amazing, no doubt, a unique place that students always remember. Of great architectural interest, was built at the turn of the century, combining Greek and Roman elements.

Our school is located in the quietest St. Julian's, in a huge residential complex which houses one of the most beautiful pools on the island, bar-restaurant, gardens, apartments, classrooms, track, volleyball and beach areas for relaxing and sunbathing. Together with our building, there tamiben tennis courts that can be rented.

Downtown St. Julian's is located 10 minutes from the complex where there are many attractions, such as restaurants, bars and cafes, shops large and small as well as discos and nightclubs.

Inside Our School: The school has 23 classrooms and 6 indoor outdoor classrooms, all of them are very bright and have audio-visual facilities. In the summer we have 20 additional classrooms that are also on the campus.

Learning Material: Our teachers make use of different educational materials and resources in their classes so that students can benefit from a variety of texts, tasks and learning approaches.

Extracurricular Activities: After school and on weekends cultural activities, excursions and sports will be organized by our team in Malta.

English Courses: In our school in Malta we offer English courses for all levels from absolute beginner to advance. On the first day, you will take a test and will be placed in the level most suitable for you. The courses are held from Monday to Friday: educational material on loan will be given during class. There are no classes during holidays.

Our Teachers: Our teachers are all native speakers, highly qualified and have an academic education. After the lessons, they are available to give advice and assistance on any problems with the language and to answers questions about local cultural and sporting events. They may spend their free time with our guests and, of course, for students taking a business language course, they will provide special materials for class.

Teaching Method: Our teaching method is based on the "principle of conversation" because the study of language should be aimed mainly at putting into practice the grammatical and lexical aspects of the language: 

• Grammar- vocabulary - exercises – activities
• Reading - understanding texts - listening – writing
• Conversation

Lessons: The class is based essentially on the principle of conversation. This is achieved through intensive training in structured role-play, guided dialogs, audio-listening and reading cultural, social, and political essays and articles related to the host country.

Certificate: At the end of the course each student will receive a certificate attesting to the number of lessons taken and the language level achieved.

Private Instruction: One-to-one language training is the quickest and most intensive way to learn a language or to improve your language skills. The format of the lessons is totally determined by the needs and desires of the student. The hours of this course are flexible which makes it possible to book such a course together with another course option. This course is also ideal as a tutoring or support course to focus on problem areas. You decide the number of daily lessons: two, four or six. All aspects of the language are taught in as short a time possible without being overly demanding.

Business Language Course: The Business Course is ideal for students and professionals who need to use a language for business communication in their daily routine. The course combines 4 lessons per day made up of the Standard Language Course and is followed by 2 lessons per day specializing in business topics. We cover a range of current and relevant work-related issues.

Sprachcaffe Malta Accommodation in St. Julian’s

St. Julian’s offer three types of accommodation, apartments, hotels or family homes and you will have to choose the option that suits you best depending on your needs. In all the options you can relate to people, either with native, in the case of families, or with other students, so we can practice what studied in class. Host Family in St. Julian’s: You can also book accommodations in private residences. There are single and double rooms, both with half board. In high season single rooms are not available. In the Maltese family houses there is alos the possibility to directly practice English from the lessons learned in English class.

The fear of communicating in a foreign language is lessed thanks to understandable and friendly families and the fact that English is used daily. In a family house you will learn traditional maltase’s meals as well as Maltese customs in relation to food. The kitchen is imbued with Mediterranean influences. Breakfast is in line with the "continental breakfast", and consists of toast, butter, jam and tea. Dinner is the main meal for the Maltese. Our family houses are all located near the language school in Malta. The homes are usually within 20 minutes of the school, though it is also possible to a bus.

Apartment In St. Julian’s: Our apartments / studies are at the Village Club of Tourism, the same location where we have our language school in Malta. All the houses have the same furnishings. The kitchen, bathroom and, as well as the other spaces are shared with other students, who usually come from the most diverse countries in the world. This kind of "shared flat" corresponds to our concept of communicative learning, because from the beginning you'll have to talk in English. Besides living together gives you the opportunity to quickly come into contact with other participants of the courses and engage in leisure time together.

In the Village Club a washer and dryer is available to students, which can be used for a small fee. There is a community shared room where it is possible to watch TV and play billiards as well as an Internet cafe, which for a small fee can be accessed for example to write and receive emails. In each apartment and studio Club Village is a telephone. The phone card can be purchased at the reception.

Hotels in St. Julian’s: By choosing to stay in a hotel you'll be choosing the highest degree of autonomy for their stay and enjoy the service of a hotel Maltese of intermediate category. It will be more independent in an apartment or a house of family and may retire in peace to study and relax. Obviously all the rooms have private bathrooms. To claim a higher offer four-star hotel, where you can stay single and double rooms. The double rooms are only available for students travelling together.
