Here a vast selection of night-clubs, bars, restaurants and cafes make this place one of the most densely concentrated late-night entertainment areas anywhere in the Mediterranean. However, if a relaxed daytime environment is more to your liking, then a 15 minute bus trip from outside the Club Village will take you into the heart of Sliema, the island's prime shopping centre where the latest fashions and technology highlight Malta's European heritage.
A trip to a beautiful Mediterranean island would quite simply not be complete unless the sea is within walking distance. For those who want to swap the Club Village's pool for the clear blue Mediterranean Sea, a short 20 minute walk will take you to St. George's Bay, a popular beach surrounded by some of Malta's leading hotels.

Clubclass - Adult Programmes
These courses are specially created for mature students. Various types of courses have been devised to suit the individual needs and expectations of adult language learners
Our courses for adults are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning and Teaching established by the Council of Europe. Courses are offered at six levels that range from beginner to advanced, with each level in between offering incremental language development. All courses at Clubclass have been designed to engage, stimulate and motivate students. This combination of factors has been shown to deliver the most rapid results for communication and practical usage. Lessons are delivered by highly experienced and professional teaching staff using the latest educational materials.
The appropriate level of language-learning is established during the first session by means of a placement test. This determines language ability in four areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Regular monitoring is also carried out to assess progress. The Director of Studies is always available to offer support and advice about any academic issues. On completion of their course students receive a certificate that confirms attendance and level attained.
General English – Standard: This course provides effective training for students who need English for work, study or travel. Based on the principle of work and fun, we have set up a full programme of superb entertainment to ensure your English language learning experience is complemented with a fun package. Our experienced leisure team have prepared a variety of activities guaranteed to give you that little extra which will make your visit to Malta an unforgettable one.
Theme nights and parties, sports competitions, and cultural and leisure excursions are but a few of the activities aimed at complementing your education programme. The pool deck at our Club Village offers the ideal setting for our afternoon and evening activities as the carefree atmosphere combined with the enthusiasm of our young group leaders ensure numerous hours of fun and laughter. Our activities also include night boat trips to Comino (depending on the season) where you can swim in the crystal clear blue sea while enjoying the on-board entertainment - to cite just one example.
Cultural visits are a highlight of the leisure programme as we give you the opportunity to relive 5,000 years of history. Trips to the capital Valletta and former capital Mdina, two fortified cities built by the Knights of St. John, are a living memory of years gone by. Valletta with its straight long streets provides a fascinating contrast to Mdina with its narrow winding roads.
Malta's sister island, Gozo, is a unique and tranquil place where traditional values have been preserved and time seems to stand still. Gozo is renowned for its natural beauty and cultural sites.
Other places we visit are the Blue Grotto, Dingli Cliffs, the mysterious Neolithic Temples, reputed to be older than Stonehenge in Britain and the pyramids of Egypt, and the Three Cities - Cospicua, Senglea and Vittoriosa.
Excursions are normally carried out in specially hired vans or coaches but we also cater for the more adventurous and organise Jeep Safaris to certain locations. Students normally drive themselves around the island following a guide up front. The thrills of off-roading are also on the cards.
The Clubclass Residential Language School team also organise beach trips to Malta's splendid bays - where you can enjoy the sea or simply concentrate on going back home with a suntan!!!
There is a lot to do at the Club Village itself. Relaxing by the pool deck or taking a dip is always a favourite pastime with our students while the more active students could trim their bodies at our health and fitness centre. The younger at heart can also enjoy a few hours at the well-equipped games room or take some time to sit down and do some reading at the study centre.

Malta's rich heritage in stone is revealed in all its mysterious splendour as one ponders on the mathematical precision and religious fervour that went into the building of these unique buildings. The excursion includes a visit to Ghar Dalam, with its well-preserved remains of extinct mammals. The tour ends with an exciting boat trip on one of the local colourful fish boats through the crystal clear waters of the Blue Grotto.
Mosta, Ta' Qali Crafts Village and Marsaxlokk: The most remarkable thing about Mosta is the dome of its church. The dome survived a direct hit in World War II and is reputed to be the fourth largest unsupported dome in the world. Ta' Qali Crafts Village is 'the place' for local hand-made arts and crafts - an ideal place for souvenir hunting. This tour ends at the fishermen's hamlet of Marsaxlokk. Here students can admire the wide array of brightly coloured boats and watch local fishermen mending their nets and unloading the fresh catch of fish.
Gozo - The Island With The Three Hills: Gozo, the serene sister island of Malta has a character entirely of its own. After a short sea ferry trip from the mainland, the tour proceeds to Calypso's cave, the legendary home of Ulysses. This scenic spot commands a breathtaking view of the singular red sands of Ramla Bay.
